Melinda Smith is our co-founder, guide, leader, and business manager.
Melinda’s aim in setting up Vine Law was to create a firm that truly listens to what its client want and which tailors the way services are delivered so that the experience for the client is as easy as possible.

Kim is one of the co-founders of Vine Law. She specialises in all areas of commercial and corporate work along with her background in dispute resolution, litigation, and employment law.
Kim acts for business in the start-up phase as well as for all types of established SMEs.
Cath Collins
Wills and Probate
Cath is a founding member of Vine and specialises in lifetime and estate planning. She is well known for her empathy and her open, friendly nature.
She is also flexible in how she works with clients, whether it is in the office or their home with a cup of tea, or virtually if they prefer.

Marcus is a Senior Associate Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution team, based in our Wisbech and Ely offices.
Marcus’s current practice includes commercial and residential lease matters, licensing issues, intellectual property disputes, defamation, professional negligence, and construction-related claims. He is a strong supporter of Alternative Dispute Resolution and has recently secured a number of successful settlements through mediation.
Anouska Rains-Kardi
Anouska is our legal technician - she works out the best and most efficient way of getting good tech to work with our business.
She believes that there’s always something new to learn and no problem so big or complicated that it can’t be solved with a bit of lateral thinking.
Sky Souza
Wills & Probate
Sky is a Legal Assistant working alongside Cath in our Wills and Probate department, where she plays a key role in keeping things running smoothly. She helps manage the department’s workload and is committed to ensuring that every client receives a personal and thoughtful service during what can often be a difficult time.
Marianne Gordon-Farleigh
Civil Litigation
Marianne works closely with Kim and Marcus in our Civil Litigation team, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. With a wealth of experience in face-to-face roles and busy office environments, she brings calm, order, and a good dose of humour to the department.
