Payment options

We offer a range of choices for payment because every business is different, every case is different, and because we know that certainty in relation to cost is important.

Options include:

Hourly rate: We can work on the traditional hourly basis so that you only pay for the time you use. Rest assured that we use our time efficiently.

Fixed-fee: We also have fixed-fee options if you want more certainty. Get in touch with us at hello@vinelaw.co.uk and we can send you our fixed-fee services menu.

Credits: You can buy credits in advance to use as you need them. Credits are purchased up-front and are based on bundles of time. The benefit of credits over the hourly-rate approach is that our time-based rates are discounted the more credits you buy in advance. Credits can be kept and used on an as-needed basis. You can also allocate individuals within your business who have the authority to use your credits with us.

Retainer: We can work on a retainer basis which means you will pay a fixed monthly or annual fee for HR support. We offer different levels of support depending on your needs. Get in touch with us for more information on the retainer packages we offer.

Fixed-fee document packs: We can draft employment documents for you on a one-off basis but we also offer a choice of document packs which include documents that commonly go together or are commonly needed. Get in touch with us and we will send you a list of our bundles and prices.

Insurance funding: Employers can take out Employment Disputes Insurance which covers the legal costs involved in defending claims and any compensation awards made. This is different to Employers’ Liability Insurance which covers you if an employee falls sick or is injured. We currently do not offer this sort of cover but we are in the process of putting this option in place for our clients.
