Meet Marianne Gordon-Farleigh
Legal Assistant

About Marianne
Marianne works closely with Kim and Marcus in our Civil Litigation team, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. With a wealth of experience in face-to-face roles and busy office environments, she brings calm, order, and a good dose of humour to the department.
Legal background
Before joining Vine Law, Marianne spent 19 years working in a primary school office, also serving as Clerk to the Governors. Earlier in her career, she worked at Peterborough Job Centre and the Government Office for the East of England, where she organised events and helped draft contracts with local universities. She’s got a knack for admin and a passion for keeping things organised – perfect for the world of litigation!
Life outside the law
Marianne is a devoted bookworm – she’s always on to the next read as soon as she finishes the last. She also enjoys gardening, trips to the cinema and theatre, and spending time with her family. She has two children and a very pampered tuxedo cat called Brian, who insists on sleeping with her and keeps her up at night if he’s not home by bedtime!
