This year we thought we’d run a cracking competition - we would like your kids to design their own Easter egg. The wackier and the more egg-citing it is the better! Eggs and Easter have gone together for years and years, but in the olden days eggs weren’t eaten they were decorated and given as gifts in Easter week. As time went by the eggs became more elaborate and eventually they became the egg-stravagent chocolate wonders we know today! So this is an egg-sellent time for your kids to design their ultimate Easter treat. They’d like pockets in their egg for extra chocolates? An egg that looks like it belongs to a dragon rather than the Easter bunny? One covered in glitter? Go for it! The more egg-streme the better, the only limit is their imagination! We have two age cat-egg-ories - one for 0-7 and another for 8-16. The egg-ceptional designs need be back with us by Tuesday 12th April, for our mother hen Melinda to pick the winners. She'll be doling out the egg-ceedingly yummy goodies on Thursday 14th April. Click on the egg below or come into the office to pick up your entry form.
